As a norm of the day our little ones need to get prepared for different entrance tests based on their IQ in order to get admission in quality educational institutions by the time they reach the age of five years.  Therefore they have to build an IQ at an early stage of their life because it sets a tone for their lifelong journey of learning. The parents must get their children engaged in certain mental development activities as preschoolers.  Here are some tips that can help in enhancing the IQ level of your kids:

In the first place, it is important to converse with your kids all the time. As a matter of fact, the grey matter namely prefrontal cortex is underdeveloped at that age, and it helps the children learn the language fast until it gets mature. Keep talking to them will enable them to raise their inventory of words (vocabulary) and will also help them build communication skills.

Encourage your child to play memory games in his spare time. Also, you can also challenge his mind by asking him questions from the concept books that he has just studied. It will serve dual purposes. On the one hand, it will help him learn a few concepts that play an important role in building his intelligence. Alongside, it will also be a good food to his memory as it helps him memorize the things quickly and remember them for long.

It is also important to build the problem-solving skills in your children when it comes to building their IQ level.  You can get them involved in certain puzzles to test their skills. Help them a little in the beginning in solving the puzzles, and gradually let them develop the habit of doing that on their own.

Rewards also work wonders in this connection, so you should appreciate them at the fullest on each and every achievement. The motivation that they get through the appreciation will certainly pace up their learning process.

Let your child also build and develop the habits of using his hands and fingers. For this purpose, ensure the supply of apparatus like scissors, glue, crayons, brushes, markers, paints, etc. You should also keep an eye on how your child is using the material as the tools like scissors and blade can be life-taking in the events of their misuse.

Keep tracking the growth of your children’s IQ level and also keep them informed about the same. Not only appreciate them for their excellent performance in certain areas but as you discover their weaknesses help them overcome those through repeated learning and find their way to perfection.
